Our original design realistic imitator fluke replicates the fry that several species of fish feed on seasonally.
A 1.5" body micro-fluke bait measuring 2" from nose to tail edge. This bait was custom molded to spec based on local Castaic lake shad.
After its effectiveness as a trout bait in the Sierras, we added additional colors including C3 Porter's Trout Magic, as well as C3 Baby Bass, C3 Neptune Shad and a new Smoke Shad also hand-made exclusively by C3 Baits.
This is the closest soft-plastic bait replica of the average-sized year-round Castaic Lake Shad in existence and is effective using a variety of presentations.
